Welcome to Merak Atelier. This website, merakatelier.com, is owned and operated by Merak Atelier (Private) Limited, a company registered in Pakistan with its registered office in Lahore, Punjab. Throughout this page, “Merak Atelier”, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to the company; “you” refers to any visitor or customer of this website.

By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Delivery Policy, Exchange & Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this website. We may update these terms at any time; the version published here at the time of your order applies.

1. Our Products

All Merak Atelier pieces are made to order and finished by hand. Minor variations in colour, embroidery, embellishment placement or finish are a natural characteristic of handcrafted garments and are not considered defects. Product colours may also appear slightly different on screen depending on your device display.

2. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to revise prices at any time without notice; orders are charged at the price displayed at the time of purchase.

We accept payment through Cash on Delivery (COD) and secure online payment methods processed by licensed third-party payment gateways regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan. Card and wallet payments are processed on the gateway’s secure platform — Merak Atelier does not collect or store your card details. Orders above Rs. 25,000 are not eligible for COD and must be prepaid.

3. Orders & Acceptance

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where an item is out of stock, a pricing or listing error has occurred, or a payment is declined by the issuing bank or gateway. If we cancel a prepaid order, the amount paid will be reversed to the original payment method.

Order changes can only be requested within 72 hours of purchase, as our pieces enter production shortly after confirmation. Please review your size, colour and delivery details carefully before placing an order.

4. Shipping, Exchanges & Cancellations

Delivery timelines, courier partners and international shipping terms are set out in our Delivery Policy. Exchanges are governed by our Exchange & Refund Policy — as all outfits are made to order, we do not offer refunds, and exchanges apply only to defective or incorrect items reported within 48 hours of delivery. Cancellations are governed by our Cancellation Policy.

Any customs duties, import taxes or clearance charges on international orders are the customer’s responsibility.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including designs, product photography, text, graphics and the Merak Atelier name and logo — is the property of Merak Atelier (Private) Limited and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. No content may be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

6. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to interfere with the website’s security or operation, submit false information, or place fraudulent orders. We may suspend access or refuse service to anyone who breaches these terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

We make every effort to keep product descriptions and information accurate and up to date, but do not warrant that all content is error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Merak Atelier shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or delays outside our reasonable control, including courier and customs delays.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
